I often check the web site for updates and news. Since returning from my mission to Haiti in 2003 I have attempted to educate and make people aware of the 'humans' in Haiti and how the welcome I received was warm and genuine. Thanks for the opportunity to serve mankind on my travel through life. May the Grace of God keep you all.

Tres cher Simeus,

Mwen konsidere kandidati-ou-a kom yon-n nan pi gwo kado ke Ayiti ak tout pep Ayisyen an te ka resevwa pandan 30 an ki sot pase la yo.
Li kle ke ou kapab bay anpil kontribisyon nan resoud pwoblem koripsyon, degradasyon fizik ak economik peyi. Sepandan, gen kek lot pwoblem ou pap janm ka rezoud san ke chak Ayisyen pa antre nan yo menm pou apwan pwan responsabilite yo.
Change Ayiti pa yon ti travay. Anpil moun pa vreman konpwan 'strength, the will and power to disorganize, the capacity to deny access and the make up of those who refuse this country a better day'. We must simultaneaously look for ways to overcome the hurdles engineered by this group and recruit increasing members of the population into our vision.
The former requires considerable backup from international power houses and friends; for the latter, we need to assess the conditions of different regions and their subparts, listen to those living under those conditions...Our problems are technical, mechanical and philosophical. It is going to take a considerable injection of blood, sweat, patience, love and humility to accomplish the necessary and required changes...

Dear Mr. Simeus,
I am happy, and proud to know that a Haitian - American of your stature has openly expressed a desire to serve our beloved Haiti. Sir, your accomplishments are well documented, and you are to be commended. Congratulations!!!
Mr. Simeus, in the history of Haiti, most of our leaders, both past and present, have shown a toatal disregard for the laws that have been established to govern the country. Thus, we have become the laughing stock of the world community.
We have flourished in our new country, The United States Of America, because there is great respect for the laws of the land, where we expect to obtain justice from the Judicial process.
It is in that spirit that I humbly offer to you the following suggestions: 1) Establish residency in Haiti. 2)Create a business. 3) Pay your taxes, as required by the Constitution. 4)Give the Haitian people an opportunity to see and experience the kind of leadership that they can expect from you. Then, We The People, will embrace you and elect you as our President.
I look forward to working with your organization in the very near future.
Respecfully yours, Ed

Dear Simeus,
you are the right man to be president of haiti now, for many rasons. but now only (2) after president Aristide, the haitian poeple is tired with the traditional politicians without good program and vision for the country. secondly most of them don't have a business, never work any where, where do they get money from to spend.
For these two reasons the haitian poeple will never trust them. That's why Simeus you are the right man that I give my support 100% I wish to have a dialog with you soon for strategic reason I think No body can take you out of the presi-
dencial race, the cassation order is onstitutional.
as you can see the electoral council make a new violation against the constitution

Mr Dumarsais Simeus:

I'm thrilled that you're running for President of Haiti. My husband Jean and I have vacationed in Haiti the last two years and I know you can help bring the country back to the state that it should be in. The people of Haiti need someone as president who will make life livable and enjoyable. They don't really have that now because of lack of electricity 24-hours and a lack of suitable jobs. Many don't have food to eat or clean water to drink. My hope is to visit Haiti again in the near future and see your ruling as president. When I first heard your name, my first thoughts were, here is someone who can make a difference. I'm confident that if given the opportunity, you will make the country come back to life. I can't go to Haiti right now, but I will support my husband to go to compaign for you. I wish you all the best in the upcoming election!

Dumarsais Simeus (Haiti's Next President),

Thank you for throwing your hat into the ring to be a candidate for President of Haiti. The country is in desperate need of a candidate like you. With you as President of Haiti, I know you will do everthing in your power to make life better for everyone living there and the people of Haiti will be given more respect. One of the first things the people of Haiti need is electricity 24-hours. The second is jobs and schools for the children. My wife, Dorothy Rice and I are so happy that you are running for President of Haiti and we wish you all the best in the upcoming election!! If you're not elected President of Haiti, then I don't believe in God. If I can do anything to help you win this election in Haiti, please don't hesitate to contact me immediately. May Gob Bless You!!!

Dear Mr. Simeus,

As a Haitian who lives abroad, I have been following keenly your journey as you pursue the Presidency of Haiti.
In all honesty, I am very proud of you for accomplishing so much as a Businessman. I do hope however that you have a clear cut plan and vision for the youths of Haiti because too many politicians have failed us over the years.
Also I need to know what do you think of Caricom? And if you intend to establish any good relation with them. As a matter of fact, I will encourage you to begin to share your plans and visions for Haiti with some of these Caribbean Leaders. I must let you know by the way that I have been doing alot of work even lobbying on behalf of Haiti with some of the Leaders of Caricom. Should you be elected President ,in case you will be in need of someone to be a liaison officer or Honorary Consul for Haiti in Caricom, feel free to contact me since I have been in touch with alot of these Leaders already.

I wish you all the best in this great and important journey and may God continue to bless you and your crew.

Ambassador Lafleur

Mr. Simeus

Mr Simeus,
I do not know you personally, but I heard about you from Mr Thelusma, a long time friend of yours. It seems like you could be the answer to Haiti's situation. I am an entrepreneur myself and beleive that we need more people like yourself in key position in Haiti.
I have no position on your candidacy yet. I am still doing, I still have some reserve because of your american citizenship.
By the way I know a lot of Jamaican activists who think it would be a good thing to have you as the President of Haiti. I quote: 'Simeus can help unify the caribbeans'.
God Bless - And Good Luck!

Bravo!

SHAME ON LATORTUE AND HIS TEAM. THEY ARE TRYING TO POLITISIZE TO ELECTION. LET THE HAITIANS VOTERS DECIDE WHO THEIR NEXT LEADERS WILL BE.

ONE YEAR AFTER THE HURRACANE JEANNE, LOOK AT GONAIVES, THE SO CALL HIS HOME TOWN. THE POPULATION THERE REMAINS UNDER THE SAME CONDITION THERE HAVE BEEN AFTER JEANNE PERIOD. THE GOVERNMENT CONFISCATE ALL THE HELP IN PORT-AU-PRINCE. THEY DO NOTHING TO HELP THE PEOPLE IN GONAIVES.

LATORTUE IS WORKING FOR HIS FREIND. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT. BUT, I WANT HIM TO LET THE HAITIAN PEOPLE DECIDE WHO THEY WANT. THERE IS NO LAW IN THE COUNTRY, NO CONSTITUTION. IF THEY WERE, LATORTUE WOULD BE PRIME MINISTER. I GUESS HE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THAT.

PLEASE, LATORTUE LET THE HAITIAN PEOPLE DECIDE WHO THEY WANT AS THEIR NEXT LEADER. WHO KNOWS IF...

how beautifull it is to have such a brave man , a man of courage with great respect, honor, and determination who decides to go back to his native land to save the haitian people after being left behind for the last 200 hundred years.

first of all, i want to take this opprotunity to congratulate you for your courage. despite of all the present problems that haiti faces today, you decide to do something. and to do something in the case of haiti now, we must start somewhere. and to start somewhere, there must be somebody there to take the responsabilities. i think if you make such a remarkable success in USA, you can make too in haiti. this incredible percé here in the united states will help you make it too in haiti despite of all.

let us be serious about all these people, the so call traditional politicians with brain damage and no visions or dreams for this beautifull country. most of them, to not say all of them, send their children outside the country to study so that they can continue keeping 'L'EGEMONIE POLITIQUE' of the country. i am sorry for them because the time is up for them.

to me they don't have any rights to even talk in the name of the haitian people. they should themself aside and let those who want to change the haitian people life all over the country.

talking about the constitution, there is no constitution in the country. look at the situation of the country after 200 hundred years. haitian people can't even have access to clean water and/or food to do not talk about electricity and communication. we are the third poorest country in the world. today it is a shame for all of us who are outside of the country. many of us do not even want to identify ourselves to other people because of the living conditions of our brothers and sisters who live in haiti.

what these politicians forget about is that we are the one who hold the country alive right now with our help otherwise the country would already colapse. imagine a country with no productions at all where more 70% of the population do not have a job. it is a shame for those politicians. the only thing they care about is their own interest.

look at what they did during the time of the dictator Aristisde. they constitute one voice to overthrow him after they split. all this explains they seek personal interests and the haitian people interests.

as they are talking about constititution, since 1987, the so call constitution has made provisions to have a permanent CEP. today, 18 years later, where is it? we can count how many time they have violated the same constitution. they are a bunch of criminals, corrumpted leaders and so on.

i am asking myself how many times these people have violated the same constitution 1987 they are talking about. i beleive if there hsa been a constitution in the country, all these so call traditional politicians should be in jail now.

Mr. Dumarsais, i have great respects for you. i am with you 100%. May God bless you to get the top of the country. I applaude tyhe supreme court decision to grant you this demand. it's a blessing from GOD. He wants you to held the haitian people. fairwell for you. may GOD bless you. the only thing to tel you be strong and keep your leadership. with that, you will be successfull in whatever you are undertaken there. be very carefull.

MG

Mr. Simeus,

I had the opportunity to meet and talk with you at the Haitian flag day at the white House on may 18, 2005. As a Bilingual educator living in New- Jersey, I inform all our Bilingual students about our meeting. You are and inspiration to me and to all my Bilingual students, I tell them if simeus can make it so can you, because our bilingual students just came out of Haiti with a language barrier and a poor background they try to find excuses, again I tell them I and Simeus came out of Haiti with a language Barrier, but with an education, hard work, and a dream they will become another simeus.

May God continue to bless you and inspire you to be the best that you can be and may your great leadership bring hope to our great nation Haiti.

Dear Mr. Simeus,

Even though things did not turn out the way you thought they would, it is not a reason fo you to give any plan that you have for Haiti. I think that once the the election is over and the new administration is taken place, you should go back to Haiti and replicate what you've done so far abroad, that is creating opportunities for our brothers and sisters to have a better way of living. Keep up the good work and may God bless you.

Dear Mr. Simeus,
You bring dignity and respect to us all Haitians in the USA for your success and good fortune. I think that we all have a role to play in this life and not all of us can be president, because being a leader doesn't rest solely on the presidency or the Prime ministership of a country. The best leader who came from many revolutions aren't usually the one who starts the struggle. Haiti needs its infrastructure rebuild, not gun boat diplomacy. We need you to put together investors who are interested in rebuilding the Haitian economy. The country needs to heal and move on from the despots who came and went with the fortune of our people. Our roads, land erosion, electricity, our agriculture, all of that have to be put in perspective for the country to get back on its feet again.
The best leaders, often let others lead; the best leaders don't dictate, they listen; they don't control, they supervise; they don't carry a stick, but a carrot.

Peace and Love
May the Lord bless you in all your future endeavors.

I hope and pray that our country can progress into the 21st century with pride and with proactive approaches for the betterment of all Haitians and the Haitian landscape. I can safely say that all Haitians are looking forward to going home and contributing in a positive way. Mr. Simeus your approach and questions showed your interest in this matter. I suggest you to review my project and include it in your gov't agenda. You were there and you already knew everything about this project. Haitians diaspora 'SE POTO MITAN EKONOMI PEYI-A' You've been there you've done that NOW be our voice

To Mr Dumarsais,
I am glad to see, someone who has ran something successfuly, as a candidate for Presidency in Haiti. Usually you cannot quite say much of Haitian Candidates as far as achievements in life, besides a school diploma (probablement mal acquis). I wish you a lot of luck and please be very careful with these Haitians down there, yep extremely careful actually. I'll follow this election a bit closely now, just to see what will come out.
Bye,
Harry Jean-Louis

The word to use is 'Eureka'. I knew all along that a leader outside of Haiti would be born. Now, I can trust my instinct and wish You, Mr. Simeus, good job. Please watch 'The Wizard of OZ' to understand that there is only a small group down there trying to impress the majority. Do not forget the allies ( France, Italy, Germany, Mexico, US to name only a few) must remain part of your network . Watch 'The Lords of the Ring' and I have many strategies to share with you. Be a strategist, a Manager and a Leader.

escaped from Haiti with my little girl that I adopted

country within my possibilities and I am
organizing the import of as much haitian artcraft to
Italy and hope to be able to invest asap in building
a school in Haiti... I wish you will become our

Congratulations to Dumas and all the people on the Simeus Foundation.
Here in Argentina we have our problems ever since and we struggle to live up with them too.
But at the same time we are a very wealthy country and may contribute in multiple ways with Haiti.
May you contact me to discuss further ideas.
Keep on moving, sucess is just in front your next step.

I have been inolved in media, in and out, since college. I recall putting an image from Haiti of bodies in a row, in 1990-91, on the cover of the college paper, a statement of mine against what seemed to me an ignoring of Haiti's plight by U.S. leaders at the time. How much awareness that brought, I don't know. I am glad though, that there are successful Haitians interested -- devoted -- to making a difference in that island country. Best to you, and ignore those that say you cannot succeeed in running for president. I recommend dodging the politcal elite and bringing your message straight to anyone who can vote. Your story says a lot for what you could do for the nation. Go do business!
